Big Music from a Little Island

Many people depend on caffeine to get going on a morning but coffee tastes like dirt. Music, on the other hand, is the most rejuvenating and invigorating thing I know. We at inHD try to be as cultured as possible. Soca music from the tiny island of Trinidad & Tobago is different but beautiful. The best example we know of a Soca artist is Machel Montano, who we were introduced to by our Trinidadian client Richard Thompson. Machel recently released a video for yet another great song which you can find after the jump.

The "Vibes Cyah Done" video features an old man version of Montano who still knows how to bring life to the party. The video is good, the song is better but how the it made me feel early this morning was the best. Do you listen to soca? What type of music gets you going?
